3D models of Auxetic structures, dimensions based on the work of Santos et. al.
Auxetic structures are those with a negative Poisson's ratio, meaning there is transverse expansion when stretched, and lateral contraction when compressed.
Applications of interest are in energy absorption.
Samples printed in TPU due to its elasticity.
